  3. Троеборье.

Все эти виды конного спорта популярны во Франции. С течением времени оттачивалось мастерство наездников, совершенствовались методы дрессировки лошадей.

В программу соревнований прыжки лошадей в таком виде, в каком они представлены сегодня, до начала Первой мировой войны не входили. Впрочем, любительские соревнования во Франции, конечно, устраивались. Они были излюбленным видом конных состязаний много веков подряд. Современный конкур получил толчок к развитию в Италии. Даже стиль преодоления препятствий называют итальянским.

Это большое искусство, которое основано на выполнении лошадьми определенных движений под руководством всадника. Данное направление в конном спорте существует во Франции уже несколько веков. В этой стране не было недостатка в искусных наездниках. Имеющие вековые традиции французские школы верховой езды всегда конкурировали между собой. Они соперничали в приобретении породистых лошадей, привлекали разными способами уникальных наездников. Можно вспомнить вечный конфликт Сомюрского цирка и манежа на Елисейских Полях. Именно благодаря этому соперничеству наездники оттачивали свое мастерство до совершенства.

Большой популярностью сейчас пользуется Версальская Академия верховой езды, которая была вновь открыта в 2003 году. Именно в Версале появились первые заведения (более двух веков назад), которые обучали верховой езде. В настоящее время там устраивают красочные театральные действия с участием прекрасно обученных лошадей.

Данный вид соревнований включает в себя:

– манежную езду, состоящую из обязательных движений;

– полевые испытания, предназначенные для определения выносливости и скорости лошади (появились во Франции только в XVII веке);

– преодоление препятствий – ввели для выяснения того, насколько лошадь готова к повиновению и послушанию.

Возник этот вид конного спорта благодаря офицерам-кавалеристам. Таким способом осуществлялось определение пригодности лошадей к службе в армии. В первых соревнованиях принимали в участие только военные.
